The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment 2026 Notification for 1,500 vacancies. Graduates from any discipline can apply online from 18 June 2026 to 08 July 2026. The selection process includes Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year students can also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of passing the examination on or before 30 September 2026.

Age Limit (As on 01 April 2026)

Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years

Candidates should have been born between 02 April 1996 and 01 April 2005 (both inclusive).

SBI PO Selection Process 2026

Selection will be conducted in three phases:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
