The South Central Railway (SCR) has officially released a notification for the engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26. A total of 2,801 apprentice vacancies are available across multiple trades such as Electrician, Fitter, Welder, COPA, and more.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Must have passed 10th Class (SSC) or equivalent
Must possess ITI Certificate in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT recognized)

Age Limit:

As per Apprenticeship Rules (relaxation applicable for reserved categories)

Location Eligibility:

Candidates must belong to districts under SCR jurisdiction including:

Telangana (All districts)
Andhra Pradesh (Selected districts)
Maharashtra (Akola, Aurangabad, Nanded, Nashik, etc.)
Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh (selected districts)
