Recruitment Overview

Indian Navy has invited online applications from unmarried male and female candidates for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme – Permanent Commission course commencing from January 2027. Selected candidates will undergo a 4-year B.Tech course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

Course & Training Details

Selected candidates will undergo:

  • 4 Year B.Tech Course
  • Training at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala

B.Tech Streams

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding (for selected candidates)

Degree Awarded By

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)

Training Expenses

  • Entire training cost will be borne by Indian Navy
  • Free books, clothing, and messing facilities provided

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

  • Passed 10+2 examination with:
    • Minimum 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM)
    • Minimum 50% marks in English (Class X or XII)

JEE Requirement

  • Candidate must have appeared for JEE Main 2026 (B.E./B.Tech)
  • Shortlisting based on JEE Main Common Rank List (CRL)

Age Limit

Candidates should be:

  • Born between 02 July 2007 to 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive)

Selection Process

Selection process includes:

  1. Shortlisting based on JEE Main CRL 2026
  2. SSB Interview
  3. Medical Examination
  4. Merit List

Medical Standards

  • Candidates must meet Indian Navy medical standards
  • No relaxation allowed in medical criteria
  • Candidates already medically fit for NDA/INA Jan 2027 need not repeat medical test
